Public talks and school visits

In Montreal and Chicago, I've visited middle and high schools to talk about what it's like to be an astronomer. I had a great time volunteering for the Astronomy Conversations program at the Adler Planetarium. I also give public talks in a variety of settings (so far: amateur astronomer associations, pubs, universities, symphony centers, summer camps, and senior centers).

If you're interested in a public talk or a school visit, feel free to email me for availability.

Astronomy on Tap Boston

I am leading a team of volunteers with whom I have recently launched the Astronomy on Tap Boston chapter.

We host short, free talks about astronomy, with a side of astronomy-related news, trivia and games. If you live in or are visiting the Boston area, join us for our next event!

Astronomy on Tap has events in over 15 cities in the US. To find events in your area, go to the main Astronomy on Tap website.
